This project was to modernize a poster for an old play. It was a very fun project to be given, since Shakespeare has been a huge influence on me.
This was a very personal project to me. Cowboys and Indians is a fictional brand. It's made to show the differences and similarities in todays societies. A great example is the Shirt design on the left. It represents the glorification of cops. They are seen as the top, but can be as slimy and corrupt as a criminal. Cause of their standings will have their consequences swept under the rug.
This project was to see how we worked with other designers, and compose a layout for a magazine of our chose. At the time of this project, there was a high interest in the popular game Cards Against Humanity. So as a team, we decided on doing an article on how the game originated. Together we collaborated on how we wanted the layout and illustration to look with each-other. To bring this piece together.
This had to have been the most fun of them all. A project to create packaging for an unusual toy line. So I chose do create a David Lynch inspired collection. From seeing basic action figures of today, it was easy to make my own twisted line of adult oriented figures. From the lighting to the composition, David Lynch has influenced me through my older years of showing the dark underbelly of classic suburbia.
This is a working concept of promotional pieces for myself. It consists of the influences and influencers of my career. It comes off a little sore on the eyes, which in taken from the old science fiction 3-D movies. overlaying of the two spot colors to make multiple is a genius idea.
It's difficult to rebrand such an iconic airline, which made this project a great obstacle to overcome. My concept behind this was to still keep a minimal look to, but also be true to the original. I used basic shapes and overlaying them with a low opacity to show motion of the two parts. this became such a unique shape that blown up and rotated gives a ver abstract look and feel to the objects.
A digital illustration of Captain BeefHeart. the project was to illustrate a celebrity of our choosing. So of course I chose a bizarre man of many talents of Cpt. Beefheart. His music and visuals have pushed the limits of music of that time period. Like him I wanted to push the limits of design and illustration to the max.
this poster was to be done in a very short time span to see how we work with a very short deadline. It was created for the yearly event in Pheonixville called Blobfest. This takes place a the original theater it was shot in the original film. This was fun to produce in such a short time to see how my mind and talents preform on such limited time.
